Making Tax Digital
The first phase of MTD will soon be upon us, with VAT returns from April 2019 needing to be filed via a new system. However, if you’re a Roslyn’s client, there’s no cause for concern. All our systems are MTD compliant and we will keep transactional records of all your data so you don’t have to.
So, what do you need to do different? Well, nothing actually. You continue to send us your records in the same formats you currently do, and we’ll handle the rest. But if you do want to move to digital submissions, we absolutely can accommodate that too.
Roslyn’s has various methods available to it’s clients for sending paperwork including cloud-based drive folders, web-based data submissions and even snail mail. But whatever the method we’ll ensure we convert that data into an MTD-compliant format so you can continue running your business. However, if you do have any concerns, please get in touch!
If you’re using a free Excel sheet to keep your bookkeeping together, this may no longer be acceptable under MTD and we advice you seek alternative means. If you’re looking for a specialised, fully MTD-compliant accountant to take it off your hands, please do contact us.
